What's the difference between a Muse, Studio and a Gallery?

The Muse is our A6. heirloom - our passport miniature size for on-the-go. Approx 3.5" x 6" folded, and 6" x 10" laid flat.

The Studio is our A5 heirloom - perfectly sized for daily use, lists, journaling, and planning. Approx. 6" x 9" folded, and 9" x 15.5" laid flat. 

The Gallery is our roomier Letter heirloom - made for bigger layouts, creative spreads, and fluid thinking. Approx. 9" x 12" folded and 12" x 21.75" laid flat.

All three are crafted in our signature Italian Vachetta, and fully customizable.

What's a Stack?

Stacks are the paper inserts that live inside your Heirloom. They're interchangeable, modular, and come in four styles: Through Line (lined), Point Taken (dot grid), Negative Space (sketch), and Point of View (graph).

• Muse Stacks fit the A6 Heirloom and measure approx 3.5x5
• Studio Stacks fit the A5 Heirloom and measure approx. 5.25" x 8.25"
• Gallery Stacks fit the Letter Heirloom and measure approx. 8.5" x 11"

Can I choose my colors and charms?

Yes! Every Heirloom is made to order. You'll select your leather color, elastic, grommet, and Centerpiece (our version of a personalized charm). Embossing is available too, so your initials, name, or phrase can be part of the cover.

Can I request a custom color?

Yes, upon request and for a fee of $32. For custom inquiries, please email hello@spizer.studio and we'll be happy to explore what's possible.

Do you accept returns?

Because each Heirloom is handmade and often personalized, we do not accept returns unless your item arrives damaged or defective.

If you experience any issues, contact us within 3 days of delivery. We'll always do our best to make it right.

How long will my order take to ship?

Current turnaround time is 14 days from the date of purchase. Each piece is hand-cut, hand-dyed, assembled, and finished in-studio. You'll receive tracking info as soon as your order ships.

How should I care for my Heirloom?

Your Heirloom is made from premium veg-tanned Vachetta leather, which softens and deepens in color over time. It will naturally patina with use, this is part of the magic.

To keep it in its best shape, avoid water exposure and store it in the included dust bag when not in use.

Occasional leather oiling and buffing will keep it moisturized, but this is not required. 

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do! International shipping rates are calculated at checkout. Please note that customs fees may apply depending on your country, and these are the responsibility of the buyer.

Can I edit or cancel my order after purchase?

Because each Heirloom is made to order, we begin working on it shortly after it's placed. If you need to make changes, email hello@spizer.studio as soon as possible. We'll do our best to accommodate, but changes may not be possible once production has started.

What's the difference between an Heirloom and a Stack?

An Heirloom refers to the handcrafted leather cover — available in Muse, (A6), Studio (A5) and Gallery (Letter) sizing.

A Stack is the insert that lives inside the Heirloom. It's where your writing, sketching, planning, or memory-keeping happens. Stacks are modular and interchangeable, so your Heirloom evolves as you do.

What if my Heirloom arrives damaged?

We inspect every order by hand before it ships, but if something arrives damaged, please email us within 5 days with photos so we can make it right.

Do you offer gift packaging or gift notes?

Every order arrives in a stamped dust bag and custom tissue — ready for gifting. If you'd like us to include a handwritten note, you can leave a message in the order notes at checkout.
